Ken grew up in Denver, Colorado where he played a number of sports including football and lacrosse through high school. His passion and focus quickly turned to Lacrosse. He was then selected to play for the Colorado All-Star team as a defenseman. After High School he served a mission for his church for 2 years in Norway. Upon his return, Ken attended BYU for his undergraduate degree, and shortly thereafter relocated to Kansas after getting married. He attended Medical School and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency here is Kansas City. This has allowed him not only to be interacting with athletes on the field, but also off the field. Now with 4 children, 1 girl and 3 boys (in which all 3 boys play lacrosse) Ken enjoys, above all, his family time which keeps him and his wife very busy with all their children's sports and activities. "There is nothing better than watching your kids enjoy playing sports.... especially lacrosse."
